As Advancement Manager, Angela Tate drives key fundraising initiatives that support educators and enrich classrooms across Dallas ISD. Her efforts focus on building meaningful donor relationships, managing impactful campaigns, and securing resources to advance the organization’s mission of educational equity.

Angela is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and has dedicated much of her career to the nonprofit sector. From advocating for global causes at The Borgen Project to fostering leadership at the Boy Scouts of America, she has consistently worked to create opportunities for others. Before joining United to Learn, Angela built a dynamic career in education as a teacher, team lead, and curriculum specialist, developing innovative approaches to help students thrive. She is a proud Teach for America and AmeriCorps alum with a lifelong passion for dismantling systemic barriers that hinder student success. This commitment to creating equal opportunities for students drives her work at United to Learn.

In her free time, Angela enjoys staying active by playing sand volleyball with her friends, traveling, and spending time with her two cats and dog. In the fall, you can catch her repping black and yellow and cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers—on Gameday or not!
