As Chief Programs Officer, Amanda Clair brings deep expertise in literacy, strong campus leadership, and district-wide systems to United to Learn.

Amanda began her career through Teach for America as an ESL teacher at Pinkston High School in Dallas ISD and later led network-wide strategy for English Learners at Uplift Education. At TNTP, Amanda partnered with diverse school systems across Texas and beyond to develop and implement academic strategies, adopt curricula, and strengthen the educator workforce. Most recently, she served as the Director of TNTP’s 2024 National Report, *The Opportunity Makers*, where she led the team in codifying learning into an internal and external toolkit of resources published alongside the report.

Amanda holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Texas A&M University and will graduate with her master’s in Curriculum & Instruction with a Reading and Literacy Emphasis in December 2025.

Outside of work, Amanda is a wife and proud mom of three boys. You can often find her cheering (not so quietly) from the sidelines at their baseball, soccer, and football games, watching Aggie sports, or volunteering with her local PTA.
