United to Learn is working diligently with Dallas ISD leadership to monitor the COVID-19 global pandemic to assess on-going resource needs for our 27 partner Dallas ISD elementary schools including their faculty, students, and families. The following are a few ways we invite you to support our efforts. Please check this page frequently as we will update it with additional ways to help as we learn more.
COVID-19 Support Fund
In an effort to support Dallas ISD and our partner schools, we have set up the United to Learn COVID-19 Support Fund. All funds will be deployed to fulfill critical emergency needs to our schools and their families. Donations will provide materials, tools, and resources to students for distance instruction and at-home learning, as well as food and basic supplies.
Family Food Assistance
In partnership with Highland Park United Methodist Church (HPUMC), United to Learn is facilitating multiple food distributions locations with hundreds of meals to supplement the efforts of local pantries stretched to capacity.
United to Lead Video Series
United to Lead high school students are supporting distance learning during the COVID-19 crisis through a new video series, designed to make distance learning less distant. Join us as we bring learning home to Dallas ISD students.
Virtual Career Days
Calling all professionals to inspire students! We have designed a live, virtual channel to allow you to share your hobby and day-to-day responsibilities during a typical workday to encourage children to explore new activities during this uncertain COVID-19 global pandemic.
