For area educators, students, community leaders and funders, United To Learn‘s Impact Showcase was an evening of music, shows of appreciation and testimonials on Wednesday, May 7. With the event taking place at On The Levee, Dallas ISD Superintendent Dr. Stephanie Elizalde emphasized the importance of collaboration in supporting both teachers and students to achieve the best education possible. On Wednesday, May 7, nearly 300 friends, partners, and advocates gathered at On the Levee in the Dallas Design District for United to Learn’s annual Impact Showcase. Guests sipped sparkling wine and enjoyed hors d’oeuvres while diving into playful activities like a U2L swag-filled claw machine, mural coloring for a partner school, and a bustling photo booth.
The evening’s emcee, five-time Emmy Award-winning journalist Tashara Parker, welcomed a crowd that included educators, corporate partners, volunteers, and donors — all united in their commitment to transforming Dallas ISD elementary schools.
Educational leaders Dallas ISD Superintendent Dr. Stephanie Elizalde, Deputy Superintendent Dr. Pamela Lear, Chief of Partnerships and Intergovernmental Relations Jon Dahlander and Trustee Sarah Weinberg joined principals, teachers, supporters, and school advocates from across the city. Corporate partners included Goldman Sachs, Truist, Comerica, Options Clearing Corporation, Weaver, Ernst And Young, and Resultant, representing the expansive collaboration behind United to Learn’s work.
